Meet Our Limitless Leadership Awards Recipients

Ms. JD’s Limitless Leadership Awards program is a prestigious honor that celebrates outstanding professional and academic achievements, leadership in innovative gender equity initiatives, and a demonstrated commitment to empowering and inspiring future generations of women lawyers.

We are proud to honor these exceptional honorees!

Noorain Khan is Senior Advisor to the President at the Ford Foundation, where she leads cross- foundation strategic initiatives. Noorain also launched and led Ford’s work in disability rights, growing it into the largest private funder of disability in the world. She is the subject of a Harvard Law School case study on public sector leadership. In 2023, Noorain was elected Girl Scouts of the USA’s 27th National Board President, making her the chief volunteer of the largest girl-led organization in the world. Noorain has received the George Parkin Service Award for outstanding contributions to the Rhodes Trust and was honored by Rice University’s Center for the Study of Women, Gender, and Sexuality with its Distinguished Alumna Award. She is a graduate of Yale Law School (JD, PD Soros Fellowship), Oxford University (MPhil, Rhodes Scholarship), and Rice University (BA).

Heather Anderson serves as Vice President, Original Content and Business Affairs for ESPN. Anderson has worked as an entertainment and technology attorney for over 25 years and joined ESPN in October 2021 as vice president, programming and acquisitions. Anderson recently served on the Television Academy’s Diversity Council and the Council On Access and Fairness (COAF) for the State Bar of California. She currently serves on the board of the Ziffren Institute for Media, Entertainment, Technology and Sports Law at UCLA School of Law, as well as the UCLA Law Women LEAD board.  Heather received dual bachelor of arts degrees in political science and ethnic studies from the University of California at Berkeley and her law degree with a concentration in Intellectual Property and Entertainment law from the UCLA School of Law.

Molly Brummond is the Assistant Dean for Student Development of Nebraska Law. In that role, Molly oversees Nebraska Law’s inclusive leadership program development, student-related services and operations, alumni relations, student organizations, and professional skills development opportunities for both students and alumni. Molly co-teaches the Dean’s Leadership Class - a pop-up class during which students learn about leadership skills such as empathy, listening, cultural competency, and providing feedback, among others. In addition, she leads the New! Associate Acceleration Academy and the Now. Leadership Cohort - two groups that are a part of the College’s broader Women’s Leadership Initiative. She is currently part of a research team studying why women lawyers thrive in Nebraska. Molly received the Nebraska State Bar Foundation’s Visionary Award in 2019 and the Chancellor’s Outstanding Contributions to the Status of Women Award in 2020. The Nebraska Alumni Association presented her with an Early Achiever Award in 2016. 

Lannette M. Richardson is a dedicated Juris Doctor candidate at Southern University Law Center and an advocate for underrepresented groups and gender equity. She is currently an Executive Legal Assistant to the Office of the Chief Legal Officer at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), in Los Angeles, California. There, she serves as a Co-Chair of CAA’s Multicultural Committee. Prior to her role at CAA, Lannette co-founded and co-owned Envoy X Sports Athletic Tech Agency, LLC, a groundbreaking sports and entertainment management agency. This agency is committed to elevating underrepresented talent in both traditional and non-traditional sports spaces and stands out for its innovation. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Lannette is deeply engaged in leadership roles that advocate for gender equity within the legal profession. She serves as the law student liaison to the American Bar Association (ABA) Commission on Women in the Profession, where she actively contributes to shaping the future of women in law. Additionally, Lannette served as the National Director of Programming and Events for the National Black Law Students Association and as the only two-term ABA - National Chair of the Law Student Division (LSD).
