MS. JD'S LIMITLESS LEADERSHIP AWARDS

Ms. JD’s Limitless Leadership Awards program is a prestigious honor that celebrates a promising woman law student, an exceptional woman attorney, and a pioneering organization embodying a spirit of excellence and a deep commitment to advancing gender equity in the legal profession. 

Presented by Ms. JD, this award acknowledges the outstanding professional and academic achievements, leadership in innovative gender equity initiatives, and a demonstrated commitment to empowering and inspiring future generations of women lawyers.

ELIGIBILITY

  • The Nominator must be a member of the Ms. JD online community.  (Join here.)
  • The Nominee is either a current woman law student in an accredited law school in the United States, a woman lawyer, or an organization.  
  • Self-nominating is allowed.

NOMINATION INFORMATION

  • Nominations may only be submitted via the online form.
  • Applications are due by January 31, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET.
  • Honorees will be notified by February 12, 2024.
  • The Selection Committee will not disclose any information outside of the closed selection process.  However, nominators are solely responsible for determining the types of information they are permitted to disclose to the Selection Committee.
  • Nominees may also be asked for additional information during the selection process, if deemed necessary.
  • Honorees will be recognized at the Ms. JD Limitless Awards & Gala, April 11, 2024 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California. Honorees will receive one complimentary ticket to the Ms. JD Limitless Awards & Gala.
  • Honorees will receive a complimentary registration to attend Ms. JD’s annual We Persist: A Symposium on Women in Law on April 12, 2024 at the Skirball Cultural Center.

Ms. JD’s Limitless Leadership Awards Honorees will receive national recognition online and via social media.

If I am nominated more than once or submit more than one application, are my chances of winning greater?


No, Ms. JD’s Limitless Leadership Awards are given to those that meet the criteria and exemplify a broad range of dedication, determination, and the desire to make a meaningful impact to the profession and their communities. They are chosen by a selection committee and only one submission per person will be read.

Can I nominate myself or do I need someone to nominate me?


Yes, all self-nominations are welcome, and you do not need someone to nominate you.

What if I do not finish my application?

Incomplete applications are not recorded, therefore are disqualified. You will receive a thank you message at the end and confirmation that your submission was recorded.


 

Can someone be nominated for both the Limitless List Awards and the Leadership Awards?


Yes, if an individual meets the qualifications for both awards programs they may be nominated for both. They will, however, only receive recognition for one of the awards programs.
